Onion Quiche

Ingredients (Serve 6 people) :


  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/5 cup (100cc) heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
    2. Over medium-low heat, melt butter in a saucepan and cook diced onion until it become soft and light brown.
    3. In a bowl, beat eggs and cream together.
    4. Add cheese with egg mixture.
    5.  Spread onions in bottom of pie crust.
    6.  Pour egg mixture over onions.
    7. Bake in preheated oven for 22 minutes, or until eggs have set.
